Involvement in the SEA of those potentially affected, concerned or interested in the outcome is vital - so here's how...

The SEA process is managed through a structured management organisation as shown below. You can contribute in two valuable ways:

1. Scoping

Issues that the SEA should address (as an aide memoir, see the graphics, these illustrate the potential effects from seismic, drilling and production operations and from offshore wind developments)
Key information sources and perceived gaps in understanding of the natural environment (see for example, QSR 2000 regional reports II and III )
Key information sources and perceived gaps in understanding of the effects of the activities that would result from oil and gas licensing.

2. Feedback and comment

Stakeholder feedback is invaluable at all stages of the process. You can comment on the process in general or individual assessments. If you wish to do so, please look at the information stored in the SEA Archive and then make your comments through the comments page.
